Junior Full Stack Engineer — Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a Junior Full Stack Engineer to join our remote engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who has a good understanding of web development fundamentals and wants hands-on experience building, improving, and maintaining real-world web applications.

The selected candidate will work across both frontend and backend development, collaborate with senior developers, troubleshoot issues, write clean and maintainable code, and contribute to new product features.

Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh — Remote

Stipend: ₹15,000 per month

Experience: 0–1 year / Freshers with relevant projects welcome

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain responsive web applications across frontend and backend.

- Build reusable and responsive UI components.

- Convert designs and requirements into functional web pages.

- Develop and integrate REST APIs.

- Work with databases to store, retrieve, and manage application data.

- Implement authentication, authorization, forms, validations, and other application features.

- Debug and resolve frontend and backend issues.

- Write clean, readable, reusable, and maintainable code.

- Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers.

- Test features and fix bugs before deployment.

- Integrate third-party APIs and services when required.

- Work with Git and follow proper version-control practices.

- Monitor application performance and improve code where necessary.

- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers.

- Learn and adopt new technologies and development practices as the project evolves.

Typical Day-to-Day Work

A typical day may involve:

1. Attending a short daily stand-up or team sync.

2. Reviewing assigned development tasks and priorities.

3. Building frontend components or implementing backend APIs.

4. Connecting frontend screens with backend services.

5. Working with databases and application data.

6. Debugging errors and resolving reported issues.

7. Testing newly developed functionality.

8. Reviewing code or participating in peer code reviews.

9. Pushing changes through Git and creating pull requests.

10. Discussing technical questions, blockers, or implementation approaches with senior developers.

11. Learning new tools or technologies required by the project.

Requirements

- Good understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

- Basic knowledge of frontend frameworks such as React.js.

- Understanding of backend development with Node.js or another backend technology.

- Familiarity with REST APIs and HTTP methods.

- Basic understanding of databases and CRUD operations.

- Comfortable using Git/GitHub.

- Understanding of responsive web development.

- Ability to debug problems independently and ask for help when needed.

- Good logical thinking and problem-solving skills.

- Willingness to learn and work with new technologies.

- Good communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

- TypeScript experience.

- Next.js experience.

- Experience with MongoDB or PostgreSQL.

- Experience building and consuming REST APIs.

- Knowledge of authentication such as JWT/session-based authentication.

- Familiarity with Docker or cloud deployment.

- Understanding of basic data structures and algorithms.

- Experience with personal, academic, freelance, or open-source projects.

- A GitHub profile showcasing projects.
