Data Deletion Instructions

You can ask us to delete your data at any time. There are three routes, depending on who you are:

• Account owners and team members: Delete data yourself from inside the platform, or ask us to close the account entirely.
• Candidates: You may not have a Recruitkar account. Email us and we will remove your information from the recruiter workspace that holds it.
• Connected Meta services: Disconnecting WhatsApp Business removes the credentials and data we received through Meta.

Every route reaches the same place. Email is always sufficient — you are never required to sign in to request deletion.

If you can sign in, you can remove most data yourself without contacting us:

1. 1Sign in to your Recruitkar account.
2. 2To remove individual records, open the relevant candidate, job, or conversation and delete it directly.
3. 3To disconnect an integration, open Settings and disconnect the service. This revokes our access and deletes the stored connection.
4. 4To close the account itself, open Settings → Danger Zone and choose Delete Account. You'll confirm with your password. This takes effect immediately: your account is deactivated, any active subscription is cancelled, all outreach in progress stops, and access is revoked.
5. 5Closing the account stops all processing, but your stored data is erased on request rather than at that moment. To have it erased as well, email us using the instructions in the next section — we complete this within 90 days.

To delete your account, or any data you cannot remove yourself, email info@recruitkar.com with the subject line Data Deletion Request.

Please include:

• The email address, phone number, or WhatsApp number associated with the data.
• Whether you want the entire account deleted, or only specific data (and if so, which).

If you were contacted by a recruiter through Recruitkar and want your information removed, you do not need an account. Email info@recruitkar.com from the address you were contacted at, or tell us the phone number that was contacted.

Recruiters using Recruitkar control the candidate data in their own workspaces, so we act as a processor on their behalf. We will remove your data and notify the relevant recruiter of the request. You can also reply STOP to any WhatsApp message to end contact immediately.

If you connected a WhatsApp Business account to Recruitkar, we hold access tokens and business account identifiers issued by Meta, plus the message history sent and received through the platform.

To delete all of it:

1. 1Open Settings in Recruitkar and disconnect WhatsApp. This revokes the token with Meta and deletes the stored connection.
2. 2To also delete the message history, email info@recruitkar.com and say so — disconnecting alone does not erase past conversations.
3. 3You can additionally remove Recruitkar from your Meta account under Business Settings → Apps on Meta's side.

On an account deletion request, we delete or anonymize:

• Your account, profile, and team membership records.
• Jobs, candidates, resumes, and screening results in your workspace.
• Email, WhatsApp, and voice conversation history, including call recordings and transcripts.
• Access tokens and connection records for every integration you connected.

We retain a limited set of records where the law requires it — for example, invoices and tax records. These are kept only for the required period and are not used for any other purpose.

• Acknowledgement: We confirm receipt of your request within one week.
• Deletion: Data is deleted or anonymized within 90 days of a verified request.
• Backups: Copies may persist in encrypted backups for up to 90 days after deletion, after which they age out automatically.
